Amy Flowers, DMD grew up in Ozark, Alabama and graduated from Carroll High School. Her family has been in the Ozark-Troy area for many generations. She received her AAA from Enterprise State Community college before getting her BS in Psychology and completing her Pre-Dentistry requirements at Auburn University in 1989.
She obtained her DMD from University of Alabama Birmingham Dental School in 1993. She them went on to complete a 3-year residency in Pediatric Dentistry with a Masters in Cariology. While at UAB Pediatric Dentistry she spent time at the Sparks Dental Clinic working with special needs patients.
Dr. Flowers enjoys teaching children how to be good dental patients and that it is fun going to the dentist! Dr. Flowers is a member of the Alabama Dental Association and is a delegate at the Annual Session where she serves on the Council on Dental Education and Licensure.
She is married to Jack Worthington Jr. who is a bank manager at Army Aviation Federal Credit Union. She has two sons, Will who will finish at Enterprise Community College this spring and start Troy University in the Fall, and Loftin who is a Junior at Charles Henderson High School. She is an active member of First Baptist Church of Troy and is a Board Member of the Troy Rotary Club, Troy City Education Foundation, and Mother's Day Out Daycare of First Baptist Church.
